Excellent location in Olathe for this chain. Very nice and helpful staff, got all we ordered just right. I had fish platter as did wifey. Fries were very good, highly recommended. We also had a large order of cole slaw and brought some home for later. Hush puppies are the greatest. Wifey had her favorite, root beer float.

Only go during usual lunch/dinner hrs. I got food poisoning 3 times from this location over a 10 year period. Each time was after lunch hrs peaked. Great greasy food. The lobby gets neglected but I usually take it home anyway.

Very good food haven't been there in a long time

This LJS would not be operating as well as it does without Gena. I drive all the way from Lawrence and I swear she never has a day off, She's there every time I visit. She's always doing everything she can to bring the best service possible and I respect her so much for that. 5

I was happy this trip to LJS in Olathe. The last 3 times my food was horrible, my chicken was so greasy and can tell they refried it to make it hot. But today I took a chance and I was happily surprised! We got there at 3:30pm and placed our order in the drive-thru and she asked for us to pull into the drive-thru parking spot and she will bring our food out. 20 minutes later she came out with Fresh hot food! I would rather sit and wait if it's hot and fresh. It all was hot and fresh. And there was only one elderly woman doing everything! Taking orders,cooking,and bringing it to the vehicle. Total super woman!! Wanted to thank her for a awesome hot lunch!

Guys you need to visit this long john's location. Unfortunately or fortunately, its the only long john's left in the area. The gentalman named David is awesome and very positive. The manager is ver very approachable, believing, and takes extra effort to assist you in the best way possible! And the best and nostalgic part is the fresh food, and these people go out of their way to fulfill the fresh food requests. I never want long john's to go away from Kansas, and together we can support this business, so they don't have to close. Please visit here often, you won't be dissapointed. Long john's food is a special place for the midwest, and I have deep love for this place because my grand parents and family visited the place regularly together while I was growing up.

First time here and we met some friends here for lunch. It was about noon when we showed up, you could tell they were swamped with the drive thru. There was one person working the counter and he was doing a great job. The food was great, that is the first time I've had Long John Silvers in a long time. The kids had burgers from AW and they were good. The place was clean and we will be going back when we are in the area.
